I know that someone being negative about a project I’ve worked hard on can really knock the legs out from under my desire to stay with it, but maybe, when you’re ready, you could revisit the project that got shot down in Query Letter Hell.

I’ve had people be really hard on the query I wrote for one of my novels, and for a little while I thought “God, those people saw right through me—how’d I ever think this was good?” But I looked at the manuscript honestly and decided that I still liked the book. Maybe you’ve still got an idea there that’s worth writing up.
